TOUR ITINERARY DETAILS:

Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Our tour guide will pick you up from airport and take you to your hotel, then present you the detailed program of our entire trip. Upon your arrival we will visit Gandantegchinleng Monastery, the first temple was built in 1835 and was center of Buddhist learnings in Mongolia. Then climb up to Zaisan Memorial Hill beneath the Bogd Khan Mountain, where you can see entire panaromic view of Ulaanbaatar city. The Buddha park is just next to the Zaisan and you will see a huge statue of Buddha reaching 23 meters in height. Our next stop will be a Museum of Bogd Khan Palace which was the residence of the last emperor - blade of Mongolia. The museum contains a rich collection of the King & Queen’s unique items used in their daily life, a gifts received from foreign dignitaries and many more interesting exhibits.

In the evening, dinner at Mongolian Barbeque!

Day 2: Uugii lake

After breakfast, we will start our trip to clear water lake Ugii, located at 1387m above sea level. It’s a home land of variety of bird species. After lunch, feel free to visit information and research center of this serenewetland and explore residents of the lake (birds). The lake's surrounding area is an open steppe with rolling hills.

Overnight, stay in tourist camp.

Day 3: Reaching the land of Extinct Volcano

National Park Uran Togoo Tulga Uul is unexpectedly beautiful and lush green located in Bulgan Province. The extinct volcano Uran Togoo is about 600 meters in diameter and 500 meters in depth and has a small lake at the bottom of it. Upon arrival, we will climb up to the extinct volcano.

Overnight, stay in tourist camp.

Day 4 - 8: Start of the trek

Today we will stretch our legs as we start our 5-days hike around the National Park. We will walk about over 15 kms each day heading towards Ikh Uul town. It may sounds like a short distance, but it stretches as you go since the road will be quite adventerous.

Day 9: Murun town

After our days of journey in Uran Togoo Tulga Uul national park, we drive to Moron /capital town of Khuvsgul province/.

Overnight, stay in hotel.

Day 10: Fly back to UB

Shopping and private city tour arrangements at your convinience. Upon your arrival in UB, we will visit Choijin Lama museum, then will have a lunch. In the evening, the concert of Folk song, dance and music will entertain you. Finally, farewell dinner will complete your experience in Mongolia.

Overnight, at Hotel.
